A word from the Vine Trust...
Mirren is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Mirren's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
I have been given the incredible opportunity to go to Tanzania with my school, where I will work alongside local communities, learn about different cultures, and contribute towards meaningful projects that support education, healthcare and community development. This trip will help me develop valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and resilience as well as broadening my understanding of global issues.
How I'm raising money
The total cost of the trip is £3,500, which I am working to raise through fundraising events, personal savings and sponsorships from local businesses and organisations. I would be extremely grateful for any contribution you could make, no matter the amount.
