A word from the Vine Trust...
Jonathan is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust Building Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust Building Expeditions are an opportunity for volunteers to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes and larger children’s homes for some of the world’s most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Jonathan's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's Tanzanian Building programme.

Fundraising Activity
I am raising money to fund my trip to Tanzania in July 2019 on behalf of the vine trust. The vine trust is an international development charity which sends out volunteers to provide medical, home-building and care support to communities in severe poverty. This trip will enable me to help build safe and secure shelter in the form of a school and houses in the municipality of Moshi in Tanzania.
How I'm raising money
I will be taking part in Tough Mudder in June 2019, which contains 8-10 miles of endurance obstacle courses involving fire, water, severe heights and electricity. I will also partake in several training events in the run-up to this event. I will also compete in the Alloa and Stirling half marathons.
