A word from the Vine Trust...
Peebles HS is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Peebles HS's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
In June 2027, 30 students and 4 teachers from Peebles High School will embark on an exciting expedition to Moshi, Tanzania with the Vine Trust. Not only do this group of young people have the incredible opportunity to directly make a contribution to the lives of people within the local community in Moshi but this will also give them many personal growth opportunities. As part of this experience the young people are tasked with raising funds in aid of the Vine Trust to fund the expedition and materials and equipment needed.
How I'm raising money
To raise the funds we are running a number of events in the local community such as a bingo night, coffee mornings, duck race, games morning etc. We are also running refreshments at a number of community events such as school concerts, fairs, games events etc.
