A word from the Vine Trust...
Philip is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust Building Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust Building Expeditions are an opportunity for volunteers to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes and larger children’s homes for some of the world’s most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Philip 's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's Tanzanian Building programme.

Fundraising Activity
In August 2027, I have been given the opportunity, along with other members of my church, to travel to Tanzania with the Vine Trust as part of a house-building expedition. The Vine Trust works alongside local communities to provide safe, secure homes for vulnerable families. During this expedition, our team will help build houses for families who may currently be living in difficult and unsafe conditions. A secure home provides much more than shelter; it offers safety, stability, dignity, and the opportunity for a brighter future. I am passionate about supporting people and making a positive difference in the lives of others. This opportunity will allow me to be part of a like-minded team, working alongside local people and physically helping to build a home for a family in need. I look forward to learning from the people we meet, sharing experiences, and contributing in a practical and meaningful way. To take part in this expedition, I need to raise funds to cover travel, accommodation, project costs, and building materials. Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help me reach my fundraising goal and support the important work being carried out in Tanzania. This is an exciting journey to be part of and through the shared experiences we will encounter, this is going to be life changing.How I'm raising money
My plan is to take part in the kilt walk in August 2026, organise a fundraising ceilidh and engage in various activities to raise the profile of the Vine Trust.Share this page
