A word from the Vine Trust...
Victoria is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust Medical Expedition to the Peruvian Amazon. Amazon Hope Medical Expeditions are an opportunity for volunteers to make a real and lasting difference to communities living on the Peruvian Amazon. Working in partnership with our in-country clinical teams, volunteers provide primary healthcare services to remote and isolated riverine communities, aboard our fully-equipped medical vessels, Amazon Hope 2 and Forth Hope. Vine Trust Medical Expeditions provide free, life-changing clinical testing, treatment and education to communities who would otherwise have little or no access to basic healthcare.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Victoria's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and a donation towards the medical programme. Any additional funds raised will go towards the maintenance and development of the Amazon Hope Medical Programme.

Fundraising Activity
I am planning to journey to Peru with the Vine Trust in June 2024 as part of a charitable mission to deliver dental care. Myself and my good friend Maria, alongside the local health team, will spend 10 days living and working on a medical ship in the Amazon, visiting remote villages delivering essential health care to locals in need . On board the boat we will have a full working dental surgery to assess and treat whose with no access to health care . We hope to make a real difference addressing existing dental problems and also educate on preventive care. I am committed to this cause and determined to make a positive impact. I am sure it will be very challenging but also very rewarding. Thank you for taking the time to read my story , and I appreciate any donations you can offer .
How I'm raising money
We are going to sell unique handcrafted items at local Christmas markets and plan to hold an open day at our dental practice to assess and treat children for a donation to our cause .
