A word from the Vine Trust...
Alexander is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Alexander's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
In June 2027, I will be travelling to Moshi, Tanzania to volunteer with the Vine Trust. During this time, I will have the opportunity to work alongside local partners and members of the community, supporting their work and learning from their experiences. A key part of the trip will involve helping to build homes for people in need, working as part of a team to provide safe and secure housing for families. I feel incredibly grateful for the chance to be involved in something so meaningful, not only offering practical support but also building connections, learning about the local culture, and gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges many communities face.How I'm raising money
To help raise money for the trip, I will be taking on a variety of small jobs such as gardening, dog walking, helping clear houses, and doing odd jobs, as well as supporting events with my local choir and organising a garage sale. I will also be taking on a major challenge by completing a sponsored hike along the West Highland Way to help raise as much support as possible.Share this page
