A word from the Vine Trust...
Stuart is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Stuart's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.
Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.

Fundraising Activity
I am raising money as part of a group to raise funds for a school trip to Tanzania. We will be going to Tanzania in 2027 as part of the Vine Trust project. As part of a bigger team we will be involved in building houses for people who have been affected by HIV and AIDS.
How I'm raising money
We will be doing lots of different fundraising events and activities, some of the ideas include. Climbing the north Eildon hill 46 times because this will replicate the height of Mount Kilimanjaro which is equivalent to 4900 meters. Another idea inspired by Lake Victoria in Tanzania which is 210 miles is to swim 210 lengths in a swimming pool. We have also thought about a completing a sponsored cycle of a set distance. This would be completed over an agreed period of time on a spin bike.
