A word from the Vine Trust...
Caroline is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Caroline's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
32 students and 4 staff members will be travelling to Moshi Tanzania in June 2027 to volunteer with the Vine Trust. Whilst in Tanzania we will be working alongside local builders and comminuties to help build safe homes for those in need. This will be a fabulous oppotunity for the students to take part in a meaningful project whilst also developing their teambuilding and communication skills.
How I'm raising money
I an challenging myself to complete 2 events. The first is a 7 hour mountain bike race, I plan to take part in the glentress 7 on 30th May and my challenge is to ride the whole time solo. The 2nd challenge is to complele my first ever marathon and not just any marathon but a hilly one! This will take place on Sat 12th Sept. Both of these events will be big challenges for me.
