Logan’s Tanzania Fund

A word from the Vine Trust...

Logan is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.

Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Logan's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.

Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.

Fundraising Activity

I am raising this money in order to afford a two week trip to Moshi in Tanzania. The purpose of this trip is to not only experience the culture and lives of the local people but to improve their lives as well by helping to build permanent and improved housing in the area. This trip means so much to me but also to the people I will be helping and seeing life from a completely different perspective. I believe that I can make a difference and help many people with this opportunity and expect to come back a completely different person than the one who left.

How I'm raising money

To raise funds for Tanzania thus far I have done the Beinn a Ghlo three munroes route in May of last year and hosted stalls at multiple events where I sold baked treats and bric-a-brac. My primary fundraising event will be undertaking the three peaks challenge over March 16th-18th. Me and my dad will be doing this challenge together, hiking the mountains back to back. This will be a major challenge that I hope will raise awareness of the issues in Tanzania and my cause going over there.
