A word from the Vine Trust...
karen is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust Building Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust Building Expeditions are an opportunity for volunteers to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes and larger children’s homes for some of the world’s most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of karen's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's Tanzanian Building programme.

Fundraising Activity
I’m heading this year to go to Tanzania with the summer team, our aim is to build 2 houses in 2 weeks in the Moshi area of Tanznia, We are working along side The Tanzania Women’s Research Foundation, also known as TAWREF, is a national organisation based in Moshi that develops and implements community-based interventions, TAWREF’s work places a special emphasis on improving the lives of young people and women: they run a variety of projects and programmes, including different types of scientifically-backed therapies for children who’ve experienced trauma.How I'm raising money
