A word from the Vine Trust...
Gabriela is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Gabriela's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
In June 2027, I will be going to Moshi in Tanzania with my school, Peebles High School for 10 days. We will be helping local communities to build a house for a family in need, which will provide a safe, sheltered place which will help them work towards a brighter future. I am taking part in this trip to Tanzania because I want to make a difference in people’s lives. By helping to build a home for a chosen family in Tanzania. I will be a part of a project which will tremendously impact a family’s lives. I think that it is so important that families have a stable and safe home and it will be an honour to be apart of that. Having the chance to work with these families and build relationships with them will be a chance of a life time.
How I'm raising money
To raise this money, I will be selling my own photographs which are primarily nature and wildlife based at Peebles Makers Markets etc. I will also be offering pet and family portrait sessions for a donation to my fund. I will be running a raffle with the support of local businesses and hope to do a sponsored walk in the spring. I also plan to run a craft and coffee morning later in the year.
