A word from the Vine Trust...
Evie is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Evie's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
I am raising money to go to Tanzania with fellow students from Galashiels Academy to help build a family home along with local builders. Much of the money I raise goes towards the building materials for the house as well as my own travel, accommodation etc for the expedition.
How I'm raising money
I am planning to hold a duck race as well as a raffle with some fantastic prizes donated by friends, family and small businesses. I also hope to sell some homemade items in the run up to Christmas. We are also doing a number of group fundraisers in school including dress down days, bake sales and a quiz.
