Evie’s Tanzania Expedition 2025

A word from the Vine Trust...

Evie is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.

Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Evie's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.

Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.

Fundraising Activity

In 2025, I will be travelling (alongside other Millburn Academy pupils) to the village of Moshi which has been affected by HIV and AIDS. Once there I will be helping to build houses and to get to know the community and the people living there.

How I'm raising money

To fundraise for this trip, I have been babysitting, selling items online, bagpacking and helping at tombola and food and drink stalls to try to achieve the end total. As a group we will be climbing Ben Hope for sponsorship and we will also try to run our own school fundraising at Millburn.
