A word from the Vine Trust...
Momentum Functional Fitness is fundraising in of aid Vine Trust's Jubilee Hope Medical Programme on Lake Victoria, Tanzania.
Jubilee Hope Medical Expeditions enable volunteers to make a real and lasting difference to communities living on the islands and shore of Lake Victoria. Working in partnership with our in-country clinical team, volunteers provide primary healthcare services to communities living in severe poverty, aboard our fully-equipped medical vessel, Jubilee Hope. Vine Trust Medical Expeditions provide free, life-changing clinical testing, treatment and education to communities who would otherwise have little or no access to basic healthcare.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the maintenance and development of the Jubilee Hope Medical Programme.
Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.

Fundraising Activity
On the 20th of December, members of Momentum Functional Fitness are taking on a Concept 2 Erg challenge to raise funds for Vine Trust.
How I'm raising money
The Momentum Functional Fitnes Erg Race 2025 consists of a 20 minute SkiErg, 2 minute rest, 20 minute BikeErg, 2 minute rest and 20 minute RowErg; 64 minutes of lung-bursting, thigh-burning "fun"! This is going to be done by individuals or teams of 2. Highest total calories across all 3 disciplines wins the day.
The team are raising funds for Vine Trust's Jubilee Hope medical ship which provides free medical and dental care to the islands of Lake Victoria in Tanzania. Stewart McLean joined Momentum Functional Fitness in September 2024 and is passionate about this cause. He says "My late wife was on the board of Vine Trust and had served on the Jubilee Hope 3 times, with plans for a further 2 trips before a tragic paddle boarding accident took her life in May 2024. Please support us as we raise much-needed funds for the incredible work that Vine Trust does for isloated communities in Tanzania."
