A word from the Vine Trust...
Ellie is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Ellie's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
Hi I’m Ellie and I’m raising money so I can go to Tanzania in 2027 with my school (Galashiels Academy). While in Tanzania I will have a range of amazing opportunities such as helping the charity build houses for vulnerable people in Tanzania. I will be going for 2 weeks in the June of 2027 so this is a great opportunity for me however this makes the trip quite expensive so to cover costs I will be fundraising so that I can go and experience this. I will be staying in Moshi near Kilimanjaro so will be able to see many amazing sights while there. Any donation of any size will make a huge difference to the trip and the charity. I will be doing a range of activities such as a sponsored run, social events, World Cup sweep stakes and group fundraising activities to try and raise the money for my journey and the charity.Share this page
