A word from the Vine Trust...

Craig is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.

Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Craig's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.

Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.

Fundraising Activity

I am incredibly lucky to have been selected to take part in Tanzania 2026, an amazing school expedition through Milnes High School and the Vine Trust. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will allow me to travel to Tanzania and help build homes for families who desperately need them. It’s a humbling experience that will not only change their lives but will also open my eyes to the challenges so many people face daily. As well as taking part in the building work, I also plan to use my musical talents to give something extra to the community. I hope to be able to teach music through fiddle and guitar, sharing the joy of music with local people in the evenings. If travel logistics allow, I also hope to take both a fiddle and a guitar to leave behind, giving others the chance to continue playing and learning long after we have left. To make this journey possible, I need to raise at least £4,000, and I am reaching out for any support you may be able to offer. Every donation, big or small, will help me reach my goal, and I would be incredibly grateful for your support.

How I'm raising money

I'm hoping to run several event over the next 12 months to raise money, such as personal challenges, raffles and possibly even a musical event.
