Street Children Centres

Kusi

A street children's village in the Andes, eight hours north of Lima by bus, under the awesome setting of Mount Huascaran, in the heart of the Corderilla Blanca. A school has also been opened here and has a roll of 100 children.


Puerto Alegria Puerto Alegria

A centre for abandoned boys in the Jungle, a relatively short boat journey from the city of Iquitos.


Ica

A centre for street children in the Atacama desert, the driest desert in the world. This centre opened in January 2008 and is now home to over 40 boys.


Kawai Kawai

Situated south of Lima, this children's centre is located only a stones throw from the Pacific Ocean. Holiday bungalows are also located on site and help generate revenue for the project.


Lima Lima

The 'Girasoles' centre, is currently located on the outskirts of Lima, Peru's capital city.


Valle Sagrado

This home opened in April 2008 and is located in the 'Sacred Valley'. It is an area popular with tourists due to its close proximity with the famous ruins of Machu Picchu.


Kimo

This home is currently under construction and is due to open in January 2010.
