Want a New Year’s challenge? - Try Mount Kilimanjaro!

Are you thinking of doing something different in 2012? Well here is the perfect opportunity to take on a new challenge in this New Year. The Vine Trust is putting together a Fundraising Challenge team to climb Mount Kilimanjaro 1st – 9th June 2012 - There are 20 places. Could you be our number 7, 8, 9….?
The aim of this expedition is to raise funds for our AIDS orphan projects in Moshi, Tanzania and surrounding rural villages. As part of this trip, you will visit one of our existing projects; an opportunity to see for yourself where your money is going and the difference it can make to so many children’s lives. The cost of this once in a lifetime opportunity is £1250 plus flights, a minimum of £250 going straight to the Vine Trust’s Tanzanian projects.
This challenge is not for the faint hearted, requiring both physical and mental endurance throughout – however from now you have 6 months to prepare (and fundraise) to meet your needs for the trip, during which we will provide a training programme to help you improve your fitness before the challenge begins.
We know raising money can be a daunting task, but we can help by providing you with a fundraising pack and the benefit of our experience. We’ll give you your own fundraising page on the Vine Trust website – similar to those on JustGiving; but without any charges deducted. A joint text-giving account will also be set up, allowing all volunteers to encourage their supporters to give this way.
