Children’s Homes

The Vine Trust supports work with abandoned street children throughout Peru. The following centres are run by our partners SU Peru and supported by the Vine Trust.

Kusi

Kusi, located near the town of Huaraz, in the Peruvian Andes is home to 40 abandoned children.

 

 

Kimo

Kimo is due to open at the end of 2010. It is located near the town of La Merced in the Junin district.

 

 

Puerto Alegria

Puerto Alegria is located near the city of Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon.

 

Ica

Ica is situated 4 hours south of Lima. The centre opened in 2008 following a major earthquake in 2007.

 

Cusco & the Sacred Valley

This home, located close to the famous Inca city of Machu Picchu, is also home to 40 children.

 

Iquitos

This centre is due to undergo some improvements during the course of 2011.
