KidSpace Appeal
In response to a growing number of requests to help support kids on a regular basis we have launched this scheme to help us accelerate the number of children being cared for by the project in the next few years. While the eventual aim is to make the project self financing within Peru, there are many children who require help now. Regular donations under this sponsorship scheme will allow us to plan for the future, knowing that the monthly costs associated with supporting the children have been provided for. It costs US$103 (approx. £65 at the time of printing) per month for each child in residential care in one of SU Peru’s Street Children’s Homes. |
This covers everything provided for the child at each of the centres and includes care staff, food, clothing, education, health care, maintenance of the home and on-going management and staff training—so as to ensure the highest possible standards and best practice. If you would like to help, please give whatever you can to support a child in one of these homes. Street children are among the most impoverished and marginalised people in the world. A child abandoned and living on the street only has one goal - to survive however they can. They will turn to begging, stealing, scavenging and prostitution. Our partners, SU Peru now operate a total of eight street children’s centres providing shelter and food to more than 300 children, giving them an opportunity in life which has thus far been denied them. The educational and social programmes run in these centres aim to help some of the poorest children reach their potential against the odds. The Vine Trust’s KidSpace sponsorship scheme offers you the chance to financially support a place in 1 of 5 of the residential Centres: Sacred Valley, Ica, Kusi, Puerto Alegria & Kimo. Amazon Hope Support Scheme

In response to the growing number of requests to help support the Amazon Hope Medical and Dental Project on a regular basis, we have launched this 'Support Scheme' to help us maintain the project and grow its range and scope in the coming years. Since 2003 the Vine Trust in partnership with SU Peru has been developing a quarterly visiting health service for around 100,000 patients annually on the Peruvian Amazon and its tributaries.
