Medical Trips - Itinerary (draft)
Medical trips last two weeks, leaving the UK on a Saturday and returning 2 weeks later.
The following tables gives an indication of the trip timetable:
| Saturday | Day 1 | Leave the UK. Arrive in Lima. If time permit and flights are available - fly to Iquitos (stay overnight in Iquitos). |
| Sunday | Day 2 | Fly to Iquitos (if overnight in Lima). Travel from Iquitos by fast boat onto Amazon Hope Medical Ship. |
| Tuesday | Day 11 | Leave Ship and travel back to Iquitos. |
| Wed / Thurs | Day 12/13 | Visit other Vine Trust / SU Projects:

| Thursday | Day 13 | Fly back to Lima Stay overnight in Lima |
| Friday | Day 14 | Time in Lima leave Lima, fly back to UK |
| Saturday | Day 15 | Arrive back in UK. |
Work days are usually 9 till 5, with an hour for lunch - but this will vary depending on the location and whether the ship will visit one or more communities in a day.
Many of our volunteers stay on and travel further in South America after the medical trip has finished.
